Welcoming one of the biggest Martial Arts studios to St George’s Shopping Centre!

By 31st January 2024 No Comments

We are thrilled to announce the launch of one of St Georges Shopping Centre’s newest gems: Studio Martial Arts. Boasting over 15 years of expertise, the visionaries behind this family-centric martial arts studio are eager to share their story, motivations, and exciting plans for the residents of Gravesend.

Studio Martial Arts encompasses a rich array of disciplines, offering age-appropriate training that promotes inclusivity from ages 4 to 60 and beyond. The studio ensures that family values are woven into the fabric of daily life within its walls, promoting a strong commitment to the community. A seasoned coaching team of 15, including individuals with extensive experience and black belt achievements in jiu-jitsu, ex-UFC participants, and more, stands ready to guide members on their martial arts journey.

But the studio’s influence isn’t confined to Gravesend alone – it reaches globally. Another branch is established in Brazil, providing students with the unique opportunity to travel and delve into the intricacies of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. For those who prefer to stay closer to home, Studio Martial Arts is exploring the possibility of conducting entire classes in Portuguese, bringing a taste of Brazil to Gravesend.

In a conversation with one of the business owners, Danny, the emphasis was on the familial ambience of the academy. With three generations of his own family participating in studio activities, Danny highlighted the inclusive ethos: “It doesn’t matter about your background or occupation; when we’re on the mats, we’re all equal.” The studio encourages parents and children to train side by side, while also leading charitable initiatives to provide underprivileged young people across Kent with the chance to join the Studio Martial Arts family.
