Beach Treasure Hunt, 23rd to 31st August 2026

Win a £50 Smyths Toys Voucher

There's a pirate coming to St George's Centre this August, and nobody knows his name yet. Arrrrrrr.

During beach week he'll be hiding letters in shop windows across the centre. Find them all, put them in the right order, and you'll work out what he's called. Crack the code and you could win a £50 Smyths Toys voucher!

The hunt opens on Sunday 23rd August. Here's how it will work.

How it Will Work

Collect your treasure map: Pick one up from the Art Gallery or Management Suite, or download it here.
Find the clues: Hunt around the centre and look out for clues in our shop windows. Each one will reveal a letter.
Crack the code: Write down every letter you find to reveal our pirate's name.
Hand in your completed map: Return it to the Art Gallery or Management Suite by 31st August for your chance to win.
Winner announcement: We will announce the winner on 1st September 2026.

Win a £50 Smyths Toys Voucher

Four lucky children will each win a £50 Smyths Toys voucher.

Winners will be drawn at random and announced on 1st September, along with our pirate's name for anyone who didn't manage to crack it.

Vouchers must be collected in person from the centre, so this competition is for local families only.
