A New Addition to St George’s

We’re excited to welcome Randomly Retro to St George’s Centre as the winner of our 3-month Pod Competition. Launching on 21st May 2025. Randomly Retro will be trading from the Green Pod in the heart of the centre near the St George`s Art Gallery and offering a colourful mix of vintage finds, retro flair and upcycled creativity. Come down and see Randomly Retro Wednesday, Thursday or Friday 9:30AM to 3:30PM.

Founded by Emma Lowe, Randomly Retro is a vibrant new space within the St George's Centre celebrating all things kitsch, nostalgic and colourful!

Introducing Randomly Retro

Randomly Retro offers a carefully chosen collection of:

Vintage and retro homewares
Toys and collectables
Upcycled crafts
Retro-inspired clothing and accessories

With a long-standing interest in craft and upcycling, Emma’s product range is a true reflection of her own style, which is full of colour, creativity and character.

We’re sure shoppers will enjoy browsing for treasures, thoughtful gifts and nostalgic keepsakes at Randomly Retro.
Everything in the shop is either personally sourced by or created by Emma, who says “ I am an avid collector of anything that reminds me of my youth.”

Meet Emma

Emma Lowe is the founder of Randomly Retro, with a background in retail, creativity and a long-standing passion for second-hand treasures. Emma has spent 25 years working in charity retail, gaining practical insight into what makes a shop feel inviting, engaging and well-curated.

She also ran a vintage stall at Gravesend Market, building strong ties to the local community and developing her own distinctive style, shaped by nostalgia, sustainability and a passion for upcycling.

Opening Randomly Retro in the St George's Centre marks Emma’s first step into running a shop space of her own and she’s looking forward to welcoming customers in person at the Green Pod from 21st May.
“Opening my business was the opportunity to share my passion,” says Emma. “I’ve always been a crafter and collector and I love anything that reminds me of the past.”
