Beach Day Fun in August

We have lots of exciting things planned this summer at the St George's Centre including a fantastic Beach Day in the centre itself!

From August 19th to 22nd, join us for a delightful blend of fun activities and relaxation, perfect for the entire family. Experience our beach setting, where you can build sandcastles, join the summer treasure hunt, indulge in ice creams and sandwiches and have fun on the rides. There will also be deck chairs available to sit and enjoy the sunshine and grab an ice cream from the café.

Please note that fees may apply for some activities.

Treasure Hunt Adventure - 1st August

From 1st August, treasure maps will be available for collection from the St George's Art Gallery.

The maps are designed in black and white, to allow children to colour them in. For those taking part, you will be able to search for letter posters displayed in the windows of six different shops:

Art Gallery

Studio Martial Arts

Debs Cards

Rose Petals

Rymans

Upon completion of the treasure map, please hand in to the St George's Management Suite where three completed pictures will be drawn at random for the following sweet hamper prizes:

Day at the Beach - 19th to 22nd August

The beach area will be open Monday to Thursday, from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Nearby, you’ll find a variety of shops to ensure you have everything you need for an enjoyable day. Visit Savers for sunscreen to protect your skin, BBS for a refreshing iced coffee and Sports Direct for a sunhat to keep cool and shaded.

The Day at the Beach event features numerous engaging activities for children, including painting, competitions and more surprises to keep them entertained.

So, come along and visit the St George's Centre from August 19th to 22nd, each day promises to be a highlight of the summer, providing some fun and relaxation for everyone.
