Market Initiative During March & April
St George’s is taking active steps to bring the market atmosphere back to Gravesend and we’re inviting independent traders to be part of it. Throughout March and April, we will be offering free market space on Mondays and Wednesdays as part of a wider initiative to reintroduce regular market trading within the centre.
If you’re a local business, craft seller or independent trader, this is your opportunity to showcase your products in the heart of Gravesend at no cost. You can register an interest today, using the form below.
Apply for Free Market Space
All applications for free market space must be submitted through the St George’s website form below. To register your interest, enter your details here.
The form entries will be reviewed and we will get back to you to discuss this opportunity.
Free Market Space Mondays & Wednesdays
This is a fantastic opportunity for small businesses to:
Support local and independent businesses
Encourage new traders into the town centre
Rebuild the market presence in Gravesend
Create a more vibrant midweek shopping experience
Spaces are limited and will be allocated following application review to ensure a varied and high-quality offering.
Saturday Market throughout April
In addition to weekday trading, we will also be introducing a Saturday Market throughout April.
This gives traders the opportunity to benefit from increased weekend footfall, while helping to re-establish a regular and lively market presence within the centre.
Whether you are an established trader or looking to test your products in a live retail environment, we encourage you to apply.
Be Part of the Market Revival in Gravesend
This forms part of a broader plan to enhance the market experience at St George’s and strengthen the town-centre offering for both traders and visitors. We are committed to supporting independent businesses and creating opportunities for traders to thrive locally.
If you would like to be part of this initiative, we encourage you to apply early as spaces will be limited.
